Dual Bernoulli gate

Two Bernoulli gates. Each of them route each incoming gate/trigger to either of its two outputs. The decision is random, with a controllable amount of randomness (pots + CV input).

Two control modes:

  • "Direct" in which HEAD = output A ; TAIL = output B.
  • "Toggle" in which HEAD = stay on the same output as before ; TAIL = switch to the other output.

A Bernoulli gate takes a logic signal (trigger or gate) as an input, and routes it to either of its two outputs according to a random coin toss. The knob controls how fair the coin toss is – with the knob in minimal position, the first output always win, with the knob in maximal position the second output always wins – with random fun in-between. And obviously, this bias is CV-controllable!

Randomly skip sequencer steps, randomize drum patterns, send events from a sequence to two subpatches, many many options!
